My name is Bouvy Claushuis (@the_blonde_vet) and I’m working as a wildlife veterinarian for Wildlife Conservation Services / Sukulu Reserve (@sukulureserve). In 2015 I graduated from the University of Ghent (Belgium) with a focus on small animal medicine, but after working as a small animal vet in a mixed animal practice in the Netherlands I realized I wanted to persue my dream to work with wildlife in Africa. So I slowly but surely made the transition to wildlife by volunteering at different wildlife organizations and following different wildlife vets in Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Introducing Ally πŸ† It’s spring here in Australia and you bet our wildlife vets are busier than ever. Check out a day-in-a-life with Dr. Tara Gatehouse! 🌻🐸🌈✨🐨🌱
